Define
Columns and Rows
A
grid display is used to define and display
all columns and rows in the report. Users
can define what is shown in the grid by
simply mouse-clicking on the grid to display
a list of information that may be added.

Produce
Error-Free Reports
When defining rows and columns, Advanced
Financial Reporting will highlight missing
or required information with red asterisks
on specific fields. It will also place a red
asterisk on the column or row itself to
quickly identify report errors that require
correction.

Additionally,
from within the report definition, Advanced
Financial Reporting offers the capability to
run a proof report at any time. The proof
shows a preview of the report layout and is
useful in finding errors as the report is
being defined.

Specify
Global Masks
When producing a range of reports, a global
mask may be specified for all reports in
that range (in the example shown, fund 1),
or the pre-defined mask from each individual
report may be specified by checking the
appropriate box.

Format Reports for Easier
Reading
With Advanced Financial Reporting, several
options are available when producing a
report. These options include the ability to
use rich text format, which can be read by
most word processing software, comma
delimited, read by most spreadsheet software
or unformatted text. Accomplish this simply
by selecting the output as shown as
formatted or plain text.
