FundWare’s Project/Grant module is a
complete solution for the management of
projects, grants, activities, contracts
or investments. With a real time
interface to other FundWare
modules, including General Ledger,
Accounts Payable, Payroll and Accounts
Receivable, it is now possible to track
subsidiary projects and grants without
having to incorporate a complicated
numbering system in the General Ledger
chart of accounts.
So often,
the ability to track revenues and
expenses associated with projects and
grants is kept separately in
spreadsheets, with no audit trail to the
General Ledger. FundWare’s
Project/Grant solves this problem
through the use of “parallel” ledgers,
each of which may have its own unique
numbering sequence. Further, reporting
from these ledgers can cross fiscal
years, providing compliance with grant
requirements.

and contracts, many FundWare
clients use this module to manage their
investment earnings. When used in
conjunction with FundWare’s
Allocation Management system, it is now
possible to track earnings in detail
with automatic distribution of those
earnings.

and tracking statistical information for
outcome measurement or activity based
reporting.
