Date
Tables: Before you can post
transactions a valid date table must
exist. If a valid date table does not
exist, the posting process will generate
a similar error. (ID type A has no date
table)

We
recommend that you wait to add Date
Tables until you are ready to use them.
Extra Date Tables may interfere with
Roll Beginning Balances. Use the
following instructions to add a date
table.
Select
Maintenance >
General Ledger or
Project Grant
> Date Table from the menu
bar. If prompted, select a division. The
Date Table Maintenance window displays.

Click
New.
The Add New Date Table dialog box
displays.
In the ID
Type field, select the ID type for the
new date table.

In the
Adjustments field, select the number of
periods following the close of the
fiscal year that you can post audit and
year-end adjustments.
In the Add
Date Table For section, select Next Year
or Previous Year. If you select Next
Year, the first day of the new date
table is the day after the last year end
of existing date tables. If you select
Previous Year, FundWare creates a
date table prior to the earliest date
table in the system.
Click
OK.
